What is the DAC Cross-Industry Business Growth Pitchfest?
Each DAC Cross-Industry Business Growth Pitchfest event will be sponsored by and tailored to a leading global company and /or investor.

Kicking off with the first DAC Cross-Industry Business Growth Pitchfest in February of 2023, participants were hand selected to pitch their business collaboration proposal to global leaders from companies like Mayo Clinic Laboratories.

In a 30-45-minute session, chosen innovators and disruptors unlock the opportunity to expedite their international goals.
Who can apply?
Any developer or innovator is eligible to apply for the pitch event. Sponsored by global leaders like Mayo Clinic Laboratories and others, applicants will unlock the potential to pitch their business to top company executives directly.

Applicants must be registered for the DAC Annual Event to participate.

Key Prospect Profile Attributes are updated based on sponsor needs.

Below are the areas of interest from Mayo Clinic Laboratories. Areas of interest will vary depending on the sponsor.


Primary areas of interest: Advanced diagnostics and esoteric testing, automation to complete more tests at scale, holistic diagnostics (beyond pathology diagnostics), digital pathology, Point of Care diagnostics, and computer technologies like AI related to data processing in trials and test results. Digital customer interfaces. Remote and mobile technologies for diagnostics and diagnostics management at scale. BioPharma diagnostics. Regenerative medicine.

The first DAC Cross-Industry Business Growth Pitchfest was held in February 2023, for  invited participants for a 1:1 pitch session with Mayo Clinic Laboratories executive team members. This event was held at The JW Marriot Hotel Seoul following the conclusion of the DAC Global Bridge Series Kickoff: Premier Healthcare Event. Read more about our past success.

As Pitchfest is not one time and rather it is a continuous effort, BDMT and companies work together to maximize the opportunity of this event.

What do I do if selected?
Before selecting finalists to participate in the Pitchfest session, companies need to work with BDMT to ensure they are prepared.  BDMT Global will conduct screening calls with prospective applicants. Screening calls do not guarantee a final spot in the selection process. Applicants will be notified of their status at each round via email updates.

If selected, participants have to pay ₩ 12,000,000 for the PitchFest.

BDMT Global will reach out to schedule 1:1 Pitchfest coaching, including market-driven approaches and essential asset preparation, to maximize the potential for growth opportunities. BDMT will effectively guide participants through the preparation process to place companies in the best possible position for collaboration deals.

Am I eligible to sponsor, and what are the benefits?
Sponsoring companies must be based in the U.S. market and have significant market share or leadership status in their respective industry. Entities must be large enough and have sufficient capital to execute deals if given the opportunity. Although investments are not required to participate, we request sponsorships only from businesses seeking to expand their global partners.

By sponsoring Pitchfest sessions, businesses can match their 2023 global business goals with key partners that can effectively fulfill them. BDMT Global meets with sponsors in advance to understand core company objectives and the types of prospective partners on their radar. The team then vets Pitchfest applicants, filtering down the applicants to a highly targeted pool of potential candidates. Once screened, BDMT will select finalists and provide Pitchfest training to maximize sponsors’ meeting time. Global business development efforts are accelerated, enabling the sponsor to only review quality proposals relevant to their needs.
